Using retransfer printing technology, Matica XID8100 Dual Sided Retransfer Printer is able to print over the edge without the encumbrance of any limitations on card design and graphic layout. The modular design enables this printer to be upgraded at any time. The standard XID8100 is configured as a single-side version, with additional modules, available on demand. A vast array of in-line lamination modules to further guard the card against physical impacts or increase security can be added to the printer as well.

The retransfer technology enables the user to print card materials, such as PVC, ABS, PET, hybrid card constructions and even Polycarbonate. Changing ribbons is made quick and easy with the lockable hopper and the front-loading system and replaceable cartridges for the ribbon and the retransfer film.
Standard connections to your PC using USB and Ethernet interfaces are available as a standard on this model. All necessary information about the PVC printer and its status is shown on The easy to read LCD display relays all necessary information about the printer. Settings are easily modified using the 4 push buttons below the LCD display.
